BUILDING A GARDEN

Parents, staff and students from the ECCDC Clothier Center worked on the garden in preparation of planting the next crop of vegetables.  Part of our Farm to Table curriculum.

BUILDING A SAFER CAMPUS

Work is underway on a new entrance to the Lorraine Boyce Child Development Center that will help the campus to be more secure. Crews took down the old storage building so they can start building the new office building and campus entrance. 

GRADUATION IS THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Las Patronas Provides Needed I-PADS

ECCDC received a generous donation from the members of Las Patronas. The grant helped us to purchase 16 new I-PADS to be used by our classroom teachers and staff.  The IPADS will be used for recording  classroom activities and measurements of key domains for school readiness, for each student. Field Trip to California Center for the Arts Escondido

ECCDC Preschool students made a trip to the California Center for the Arts Escondido Museum for some Art education. Students explored the museum art displays and participated in an art lesson led by the Museum docents. Thank you to the Arts Center staff, docents and educational program series for introducing ECCDC students to the arts!

20 YEARS OF SERVICE

ECCDC Site Supervisor Marcela Johnston celebrates 20 years as an ECCDC employee on February 13. Marcela started with ECCDC in 1997 as a teachers aide and is now in charge of the agencies oldest center, the Lorraine H. Boyce Child Development Center. Congratulations Marcela and thank you for your loyal service to ECCDC.
