Every year in conjunction with Cinco de Mayo Lorraine Boyce Center’s preschool classrooms put together a cultural dance for the children to learn and engage with. The children dress up in traditional cultural attire for the presentation. Families always love to see their children exploring their culture in an intentional way. It is always so moving to see how touched and emotional this performance is for the families. The children also have a strong sense of pride to perform for members of the community.
