Feeding San Diego, part of the national Feeding America program, has partnered with ECCDC to receive food donations. The food will be shared with families enrolled in the ECCDC Child Development Program. The Food Pantry will be distribute free food each Thursday afternoon at the Boyce and Clothier Centers. For information on how you can participate, please contact your Site Supervisor.
Work is underway on a new entrance to the Lorraine Boyce Child Development Center that will help the campus to be more secure. Crews took down the old storage building so they can start building the new office building and campus entrance.
ECCDC received a generous donation from the members of Las Patronas. The grant helped us to purchase 16 new I-PADS to be used by our classroom teachers and staff. The IPADS will be used for recording classroom activities and measurements of key domains for school readiness, for each student.
Las Patronas has been generously donating to charitable institutions since 1946 and we very much appreciate being included in this grant cycle. Thank you Las Patronas!!!
